Victor Evel Ransom was born to James R. Ransom Jr. and Sue E. Ransom in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 12, 1956.
Victor was educated in the Indianapolis public school systems, attending school 66 and Shortridge.
Victor enjoyed fishing, motorcycles and pitbulls especially his beloved dog Indo. Victor was known to live life on his terms and was one you could always call for advice, words of wisdom or just to chat. Victor was known to say what needed to be said even if you didn’t like the way he said it! Always the truth raw and uncut, pimping! Victor was an avid learner of life, he wrote poetry, even having a poem published in the Indianapolis recorder,
Victor Evel Ransom won his life race and left this worldly place behind on November 25, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother James R. Ransom III.
Victor will be held in the hearts and memories of his children: LeTona (John) Perry, David Wade, his grandchildren: Brianna Nelson, Adrianna Nelson, John Perry Jr. Jaila Perry, Jamylah Perry, Jeremiah Wade, Jordyn Perry, Nevaeh Wade, Bre’Anne Wade, Bri’Elle Wade. His siblings: Patsy (Will) Brown, Donnisha Miller, Lotario ‘Low-T” (Tinya) Ransom, Astro Ransom, Kennedy Ransom and Richard Ransom.
Victor also leaves to cherish his memory many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. We honor Victor and remember the happiness he brought to each of us and the love we shared. We bid goodbye to one so loved and never to be forgotten. Life on Earth is fleeting, but the afterlife is eternal. Farewell to our beloved.
