Terry Donald Ingram Sr.

Terry Donald Ingram Sr. was born June 9, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Lauretta Ingram Sims and Walter Lee Ingram.

He received his education in the Indianapolis Public Schools and was a graduate of Crispus Attucks High School.

Terry worked at Western Electric and Methodist Hospital.

He married Rosita Hawkins-Sims in October of 1971 and to their union they were blessed with two beautiful children, Terry Donald Ingram Jr. and Christian Lucia Ingram. He was very proud of his children and had high hopes for Terry Jr. and Christian and he wanted nothing but the best for them.

Terry was a big sports fanatic, his favorite teams were the Indianapolis Colts, the Indiana Pacers and he loved watching IU basketball. He also loved keeping up with the news and current events. Terry also enjoyed going out to eat and celebrating events with his family.

Terry Donald Ingram Sr. departed this life on Friday, March 31, 2023. His parents and stepfather, Lindsey Lee Sims preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories to his son, Terry Donald Ingram Jr. (Martha) of Woodsboro, Texas and daughter, Christian Lucia Ingram; grandchildren: Anthony Hernandez, Justine Hernandez, Pauline Irving and Kathleen Ingram Powell all of Woodsboro, Texas; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Ingram (Joycell); sister, Julie Sims-Smith (Edward); nieces: Tamika Ingram, Loretta Lynn Hawkins and Chezik Smith-Lee; nephew, Jason Ingram; aunt, Juanita Foree; along with a host of loving family and friends.
