RaeAnn Maria Chisolm

RaeAnn Maria Chisolm was the first born to Sabrina Chisolm and Jack Reynolds on February 20, 1987. RaeAnn was an only child, and this began her journey of a shining bright spirit on all those who crossed her path.

RaeAnn attended Indianapolis Public Schools and then attended Arlington High School where she became the Dance Team Captain. She worked several jobs throughout her years.

She professed a hope in Christ and was passionate about writing in her journal everyday about her Lord and Savior. She was a kind and lovable person. Her bubbling personality, smile, style and class will be greatly missed. During her spare time, RaeAnn would play cards, sing and style hair. She also loved cooking, listening to music, dancing and fashion. She took pride in looking nice daily, as you could tell by her pictures. She enjoyed being around her cousins, family and friends. She was a devoted mother of three wonderful children who she loved dearly.

RaeAnn has a special relationship with her cousins: Jolena, Amber, Tink, Chris and Ray. They all remember her not just as a cousin but as a sister of joy and kindness in their lives.

There were many wonderful aspects to Raeann’s life and many ways that she touched our lives, she will be remembered as a wonderful mother, daughter, grandchild, niece, cousin, and a great friend.

RaeAnn passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025, in her hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her son, Dantez Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory: son, Dashawn Chisolm; daughter, Areanna Chisolm; mother, Sabrina Chisolm; father, Jack Reynolds; grandmother, Mary Figueroa; aunts, Angela Stephens (Robert) and Carla Jones (Richard); uncle, Jesse Chisolm; cousins: Jolena Harris, Amber Jones, Tangela Nalls Johnson (Timothy), Christopher Smith and Raymond McGraw Jr.; special friend, Kenny Scott; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
