Pastor Orelia P. Sarver

Pastor Orelia Pat Sarver was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 24, 1948 to Cleveland and Athea Fields.

She received her education in the Indianapolis Public Schools and received her high school diploma from Crispus Attucks High School.

She attended Indiana Vocational Technical College where she received her Small Business Operation Management Degree as well as an Accounting Technology certificate. She also received a cosmetology degree and a certificate of Ordination in March 1980.

Pastor Orelia worked as a substitute teacher in the Indianapolis Public Schools for 33 years until her passing.

She departed this life on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at the age of 76. Her parents, Cleveland and Athea Fields; siblings: Selena, Mary Jo, Allen, and Luther; son, Kenneth; and grandsons: Terrell, Kashawn, and Devion all preceded him in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Kimberly Hooten, (Michael), Precious Sarver (Jacob), Denise Wilson (Daryl), Leta Sarver, Deborah Zinerman (Chris), Devin Sanders (Laquita), Angela Sanders, Monica Sanders (Allen), and Ricky Sanders (Khadeeja); 47 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loving relatives and friends.
