Michael Terell Thomas "Bubba"

In Loving Memory of Michael Thomas September 4, 1980 – August 20, 2026

Michael Thomas, affectionately known as Bubba, was born on September 4, 1980, to the proud parents Clyde Thomas Jr. and Donna J. Thomas-Robertson. On August 20, 2026, Michael peacefully gained his wings and entered eternal rest. 

Michael was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend whose presence brought warmth and happiness to those around him. He had a heart of gold and found joy in seeing the people he loved happy. Family meant everything to Mike, and some of his happiest moments were spent surrounded by the people he loved most. Mike had a passion for barbecue, football, and spending quality time with family. He was a proud fan of his favorite football team, the Indianapolis Colts, and could often be found watching the game and cheering them on.Michael was also a hardworking and dedicated man. He devoted many years to driving his semi over the road, working tirelessly to provide for and support his family. His dedication, strength, and determination were a true reflection of the kind of man he was—a provider who took pride in caring for those he loved.Although our hearts are heavy with his passing, we will forever cherish the memories, laughter, love, and lessons he left behind. Michael’s life touched many, and his kindness and generous spirit will continue to live on through everyone who knew and loved him.

Michael leaves to cherish his precious memories his beloved wife, Jomika Thomas; his children, Mikiya Thomas, Terrell Thomas, Davion Evans, Jarell Evans, and his beloved son Michael Evans, who preceded him in death. He is also survived by his loving mother, Donna Robertson; his father, Clyde Thomas Jr., who preceded him in death; his stepmother, Deborah Thomas; his sisters, Monique Green and Breanna Thomas; his brother, Adriane Green; his grandparents; and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Michael may no longer be with us physically, but his love will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him. His memory will live on through his family, his children, the stories shared, the laughter he brought, and the countless lives he touched. 

Rest peacefully, Mike. You fought a good fight, you finished your race, and now you have earned your wings. You will forever be loved, forever be missed, and never be forgotten.
