Michael A. Lee

MICHAEL "MIKE" ANTHONY LEE, was born on March 31, 1957 to Allen B. Lee Sr. and Shirley Lee, in Chattanooga, TN.

MICHAEL was raised in Chattanooga, TN where he attended elementary school and Tyner High School. After graduating high school, Mike enlisted in the UNITED STATES MARINE CORP. He served our country from 1976 - 1979. Mike received a Rifle Marksmanship Badge, which he was proud of. Mike often talked about his travels to Spain and Japan and how he enjoyed experiencing the different cultures. Being a MARINE was an honor to him.

MICHAEL was united in Holy Matrimony to his former wife Lenora Lee (William), to which they had a daughter, LaToya, and he was a part of her two children's lives, Lanesha and Christopher. He was later united in Holy Matrimony to his current wife, Kimberlynn Price-Lee, to which they had a daughter, Tiffany, and he inherited her three children: DaVada, Allen Jr. and Whitney.

MICHAEL was employed in Tennessee, at T. H. Payne, for several years. After moving to Indianapolis, Mike was employed at Thomas Catering, Keys to Work and the Hilton Garden Inn, Downtown Indianapolis, among other jobs. Mike really enjoyed people and thrived at these jobs. As the saying goes, he "never met a stranger".

When Mike first came to Indianapolis, you could always find him at Brookside Park playing basketball with my brothers. Everyone told him that he had a mean left-hand shot and with the biggest smile/laugh, Mike would agree!!! Mike loved sports and music. It's amazing how much he knew about every sports team and every genre of music. Mike also enjoyed throwing darts, shooting pool and especially, spending time with his family. Mike was a great husband and father. I will always cherish the love, support and stability he gave us. His work ethic was an example for our children, who went on to have amazing careers! Hanging out with the family, watching football/basketball, celebrating holidays, etc. were very important to Mike. Our family reunions were a special time for him, as well as visiting relatives in Alabama and Tennessee, before his health started failing. Through all his health battles over the last few years, he always tried to stay positive, and he fought a great fight. His strength came from being a MARINE, he would say!

On June 26, 2025, MICHAEL ANTHONY LEE departed this life at the age of 68 years, 2 months and 26 days. His father, Allen Lee Sr.; mother, Shirley Lee; sister, Debra Lee; brothers, Allen Lee Jr. and Reginald Lee; and grandsons, D'Seandre Hill and Cameron Bolden, all preceded him in death.

MICHAEL leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Kimberlynn Price-Lee; daughters: LaToya Lee (Antoine), DaVada Bolden-Blakemore (Maurice), Whitney Reynolds (Joshua) and Tiffany Price (Courtney); son, Allen Bolden Jr. (Trena); grandchildren: TaVeon, D'Andre, Destiny, Elijah, Isaiah, Tziyon, Erin, Jasmine and Bella; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
