Michael Jearl Eugene Hobbs Sr.

Michael Jearl Eugene Hobbs Sr. was born February 21, 1970 in Chicago, IL to Eugene Hobbs Jr. and Alice Marie Hobbs. At a young age, he accepted Christ at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, in Chicago, IL. Michael attended Curie High School in Chicago, IL where he played basketball and sang in the choir. In 1988, he joined the United States Marine Corp, where he served for four years and was honorably discharged as a Corporal. In 2009, Michael became “Lil Papa”, a member of 317 Ryders MC, of which he retired as a lifetime member in 2023. Michael served as a Road Captain.

Professionally, Michael mentored, trained, and drove commercial vehicles for over 20 years. During his personal time, Michael loved riding motorcycles and enjoying time with friends and family. He had a great sense of humor and knew exactly what to do to light up a room. In the summertime if he was not on the grill, you would find him cutting grass or towing bikes. He truly lived for others.
