Louis Long Jr was born august 18, 1950. He was born to Louis Long Sr and Sara Long. He is the second of four children. Louis was educated at Muncie Central in Muncie, Indiana. There he ran track and was called “the road runner” but he loving referred to himself as “LL Cool J”. Louis enjoyed fishing and hunting and did both frequently. He served in the United States Army from 1970-1972. Later, he worked for International Harvester where he worked for 39 years before retiring.

Louis also had much love for his family. Louis was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Eric Jr and his granddaughter Jaise. Louis departed this life on Tuesday September 6th, 2022 at the age of 72. Louis leaves to cherish in his memory wife Sandra, siblings Bobbi (John), Betty, and Hal (Karen). He also leaves behind children Artise, Brian (Tasha), DeeDee, Eric Sr, Jay, Wendy, and Mike; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
