Obituary scripture Psalm 23:1-6 KJV “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

Lorri Elizabeth Rogers was born April 16th, 1961, on a cold, snowy Sunday morning. Lorri was the youngest of three children born to Harold and Mary Rogers (deceased). Lorri dedicated her life to Jesus Christ and was baptized at Second Christian Church / Light of The World Christian Church in Indianapolis she went on to join New Hope Baptist Church also in Indianapolis. Lorri attended Indianapolis public schools, James Whitomb Riley #43, Broad Ripple High School and Indiana Business College. Lorri worked in the medical field for many years, most recently for Nature’s Tea Company in her field as a lab assistant. She really enjoyed the many companies and assignments she had. As a child Lorri was known as Mickey and Munchkin when she grew up. Lorri’s closest girlfriends are called her Ride or Die Posse and they will miss her dearly. Lorri met the love of her life Anthony Carter who became her fiancé. They had a long ongoing loving relationship until her passing on Sunday March 12th Lorri leaves behind to mourn her passing her two brothers, Harold and Kevin Rogers nieces, nephews, cousins along with neighbors and a host friends. She will be greatly missed by all

Lorri’s favorite Scripture Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 KJV “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.” ————————————- Lorri enjoyed her time here on earth and now it’s time for her to enjoy eternity with God. Don’t cry for she’s in heaven now and at peace.
