On March 24, 1942, Leroy Boone was born into a God fearing family, as the 6th child of 15 children, to the late Elder Roy Boone and Willie Artis Jackson-Boone of Miami, Florida. He attended Miami North Western Senior High School graduating Class of 1961. He dedicated his life to Christ, joining the church at a very young age. He was a dedicated and hands-on member at University United Methodist Church. He taught Sunday school, sang in the choir, and devoted his life to the church as best as he could until his health failed him.

Leroy’s career allowed him to travel the world, many alongside his wife, enjoying the sights and wonders of the globe. He enjoyed debate, reading (especially his Bible), traveling, being around his family and was a God-Fearing, kind hearted, charitable, and intelligent individual.
