Keianna Monique Davis

Keianna Monique Davis, a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, beloved sister, dedicated youth advocate and educator, and treasured member of her community, departed this life on June 15, 2026, at the age of 38.

Keianna was born on December 30, 1987, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Anthoney and Cheryl Hampton. As a daughter and big sister, she brought joy, pride, and love to her family from the very beginning. Her upbringing helped shape the woman she became: strong, caring, graceful, compassionate, and committed to serving others.

Keianna was a proud graduate of Indianapolis Public Schools. She graduated from Thomas Carr Howe High School in 2006 and later earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University.

On July 11, 2015, Keianna was united in holy matrimony with her high school sweetheart, Earnest Davis. Together, they shared a beautiful life built on faith, family, loyalty, and devotion. As a wife, Keianna was loving, steady, supportive, and deeply committed. Her love was constant, her presence was comforting, and her devotion to her family was unwavering.

As a mother, Keianna gave her whole heart. She was nurturing, protective, wise, and deeply invested in the lives of her three sons, Nasir, Amir, and Zahir. She taught by example, encouraged with love, corrected with purpose, and celebrated every accomplishment with joy. Her children will forever remember her love, her voice, her lessons, her sacrifices, and the way she made home feel safe.

As a dedicated youth advocate and educator, Keianna touched countless lives throughout Indianapolis. She spent her early professional years serving with the Department of Child Services before transitioning into education, where her heart for children and families continued to shine. For Keianna, child advocacy and education were more than career paths; they were callings rooted in service, compassion, and love for young people.

During her time at George W. Julian School 57, Keianna was a trusted advocate and steady source of support for students, families, and staff. She helped connect families with resources, established the school’s food pantry, co-led the holiday assistance program, and served as Athletic Director, expanding opportunities for students through sports programs and athletic clinics.

Keianna believed in helping every child feel supported, valued, and capable. Her impact will live on through the students, families, and colleagues whose lives were made better because of her.

Keianna was known for her kindness, strength, wisdom, patience, faith, and love for people. She carried herself with grace and purpose, whether at home, at school, or in the community. Her infectious laugh could brighten any room, and her generous heart touched countless lives.

She enjoyed dancing, traveling, exploring new foods from around the world, spending time with family, celebrating milestones, helping others, and creating memories with the people she loved most. Keianna lived a life filled with compassion, dedication, joy and a deep commitment to those around her.

Her legacy is one of love, service, family, compassion, education, joy, and strength. Through her work, her relationships, and the many lives she touched, Keianna’s impact will continue to be felt for years to come.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memories: her husband, Earnest Davis; her children, Nasir, Amir, and Zahir Davis; her parents, Anthoney and Cheryl Hampton; her mother-in-law, Judith Adair; her siblings, Anthoney Jr.., LaTara, Adrian, Andre, Kasia and Aaron Hampton. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends, students and colleagues.

Keianna will be profoundly missed, lovingly remembered and forever cherished. Her love, laughter, lessons and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
