Jeremiah Dior Poole De La Cruz

Jeremiah Dior Poole De La Cruz was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 28, 2019 to J’ron Poole and Dorianny De La Cruz De Los Santos. He attended Indiana Math & Science Academy North, where he shined bright and his teachers and classmates loved him. Though his time on this earth was brief, his life was a precious gift, filled with love, joy, and purpose. Jeremiah is now resting in the eternal arms of Jesus, surrounded by peace and perfect love.

Throughout the years of Jeremiah’s life one thing he always loved doing was playing and protecting his siblings. He would love to make it known he was the big brother. He was a natural leader, always taking charge. He was often found running around with his brother and sisters, exploring the world around them with immense curiosity. His laughter echoed through the house, and his vibrant personality made every moment spent together feel like an adventure.

Jeremiah was a joyful and curious child who brought light into every space he entered. His laughter and smiles filled every room. He had a deep love for cars and could often be found racing his toy cars across the floor, carefully lining them up, or excitedly pointing them out wherever he went. Basketball was another passion of his—he loved shooting hoops, dribbling the ball, and celebrating every basket with pride and excitement.

One of Jeremiah’s favorite activities was building with Legos/Blocks. With patience and imagination beyond his years, he created towers, vehicles, and entire worlds, tearing them down only to rebuild something even better. These moments reflected his growing independence, as Jeremiah was beginning to show a strong desire to do things on his own. He was learning, growing, and becoming confident in who God was shaping him to be.

Jeremiah’s life was a reflection of childlike faith. His laughter was contagious, his smile pure, and his heart gentle. He had a special way of making others feel loved, often through simple acts of kindness, hugs, and words spoken with sincerity. Those who knew Jeremiah were blessed by his presence and will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Jeremiah departed this earthly world, at a tender age of 6 years old. He is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Ethel Stevens. Jeremiah is lovingly survived by his parents, Dorianny De La Cruz De Los Santos and Jron Poole; siblings: Ezio Poole De La Cruz, Leanny Poole De La Cruz, and Ariani Poole De La Cruz, who cherished him beyond measure; grandparents; aunts; uncles; cousins; and a community of friends, teachers, and loved ones who will miss him deeply. In the assurance that we will see Jeremiah again, where there is no sorrow, no pain, and no end to love.
