Jeniece Ebony Logan was born on August 7, 1981, in Indianapolis IN to James Logan and Carmen Futrell. She was affectionately known as "JAE."

Jeniece received her education at Roads Elementary School. On February 5, 1999, she earned her diploma and graduated from the State of Indiana's Job Core. After completing her educational journey, she held many jobs and never stopped learning.

Jeniece was a member of the Christ EMB Church until they moved to another location. She continued her search for a new church home, but she never lost her faith.

JAE, was a loving, giving, outgoing and kid-hearted person. She will be greatly missed by all that loved and knew her.

Jeniece Ebony Logan departed this life on March 6, 2026, at the age of 44 years old.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory to her daughter, Macaiah Patterson and son, Semaj Patterson, granddaughter, Calicia Patterson, her parents; Carmen Futrell (Robert) and James Logan (Debbie), sisters; Shanel Clay, Le'neva Maxey, Patricia Logan, Shanika Graves, Lawanna, brothers; William Rowe, Jamaul Logan, Melvin Graves, Laron Graves and Dion Logan, grandmother, Margaret Logan and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends.
