Janice Cecil Marie Mccoin

Ms. Janice Cecil Marie was born February 25, 1951 in Clarksville, Tennessee to James Fitzgerald and Annie (Childs) Bonds.

She confessed her faith in Christ and was baptized at an early age. She received her education at Burt Cobb School.

Janice met Mr. Louis McCoin at an early age and they eventually were united in marriage.

She relocated her family to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1977. Janice worked for The Children’s Museum for many years doing housekeeping. She was a faithful member of Greater Morning Star and Good Hope Baptist Church. Her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was wonderful.  She was well known for her loving heart and wonderful cooking. Janice was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Ms. Janice Cecil Marie McCoin went to heaven on Monday, May 29, 2023. Her father, James Fitzgerald; mother, Annie Bonds; daughters, Geneva McCoin and Sistergirl McCoin; and great-granddaughter, Anilah Spraddling all preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sons, Louis McCoin and Xavier Bandy; daughters, Yavette McCoin and Monica McCoin; sister, Ladonna Humphrey; seventeen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of loving family and friends.
