James E. Levell

August 20, 1943 — July 14, 2008

James E. Levell was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on August 20, 1943 to Prentice and Hazeline Levell. Later James and his family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where he attended Crispus Attucks High School. After high school, James worked as a construction worker for thirty years with various companies. James favorite pastime was sitting on the river bank fishing and taking long quiet walks through his neighborhood to enjoy the beautiful creation of Jehovah. It thrilled James very much to learn that God's personal name is Jehovah (Ps. 83:18). He enjoyed visiting the Kingdom Hall and meeting the friends. James was a loving big brother who treasured his brothers and sisters and his long time special friend, Genanett Alexander and her family. Even though he had no children of his own he played a special roll in the lives of Gerald, Terry, Earl and Derryl Alexander and their two sons and two daughters. James was deeply loved by everyone and we will truly miss him. Those left to cherish his memory are his two sisters, Frances Clark and Pamela Perry; five brothers, Tony (Venita), Christopher, Gregory, Rocky (Cynthia) and Stepfon (Jackie); special friend, Genanett Alexander; a host of other relatives and friends.
