Mrs. Gwendolyne Evans, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016.
Gwendolyne Brinkley was born August 19, 1938 to the late Herley and Mattie Brinkley in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a homemaker during her lifetime and she was loved by her family and many friends.
On July 6, 2016, Mrs. Gwendolyne Brinkley Evans departed this life. She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. She leaves to cherish her memory: her sister, Loretta Hatchett; brother, Bill Brinkley; niece, Gwendolyne McFadden; boyfriend, Lawrence Duff and many other family members and friends.
Family and Friends Visitation will be held on Friday, July a5, 2016 from 10am until 12 Noon at Lavenia and Summers Home for Funerals, 5811 E. 38th Street. Funeral service will follow at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Sutherland Park Cemetery.
