Guy Payne Inman Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the transition to eternal life of Guy Payne Inman Jr. on July 7, 2025. Guy was 72 years old.

Guy was born September 05, 1952, in Nashville, Tennessee to Guy Inman Sr. and Cleopatra Inman.

Guy attended and graduated from Manual High School in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Guy worked for AT&T in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana as an Engineer before retiring after 45 years. AT&T is where Guy met the love of his life, Saundra Ann Radford. They had been married for over 49 years.

Guy and Saundra married on their lunch hour at the City County Building on September 26th, 1975. They had lunch at the City Market after getting married and returned to work.

Guy cherished moments and get-togethers with his family. He also had a love for sports, particularly, The Indianapolis Pacers, Indianapolis Colts, and especially the NY Yankees.

Guy was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Inman Sr. and Cleopatra Inman, his brother Carl Inman and his sister Zelma Loletta Lewis.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife Saundra Inman and their children, daughter Shawna Bryant (Damon); sons, Dion Darden (Nicole) and Devon Inman (Devona), eight grandchildren; Devon Inman Jr., Imani Darden, Lauren Wright, Tyler Bryant, Tayler Bryant, Donavan Inman, Dylan Inman, and Olivia Darden.

Guy was the oldest of nine children. The surviving siblings; Micheal Inman, James Herbert Inman, Kaye Lane, Edith Rutland (Keith), Mahlon Inman (Tendai), Hugh Inman (Carolyn).

His memories will also be cherished by a host of loving family and friends.

We will miss Guy dearly. Though he may be gone, Guy will never be forgotten.
