Gloria J. Reynolds Watson

Gloria Jean Reynolds Watson was born in Sturgis, Kentucky, to Lurlene and Olga Robert Reynolds Sr. The third of eight children, she moved with her family to Indianapolis, Indiana, at a young age. Gloria attended John Hope School No. 26 and Arsenal Technical High School, graduating in 1958. She loved school and she had a special aptitude for mathematics.

Gloria was the mother of four daughters, Pamela, Natalie, DeLonda, and DeChelle, and she was happy to gain a preteen bonus daughter, Corniece, many years ago. Gloria was also a proud grandmother and treasured the many relationships she shared with her extended family.

Full of personality and naturally social, Gloria never met a stranger. She loved music and dancing, roller skating in her younger years, playing cards, shopping, talking on the phone, and trying her luck at the casino. She enjoyed people and had a way of making connections wherever she went.

Gloria transitioned from this life to her Heavenly home on Friday, August 14, 2026. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories and will be remembered for her generosity, humor, unmistakable personality, and the love she shared with so many.
