Eric R. Alexander

With heavy hearts and profound love, we share the passing of Eric Rodney Alexander also known as Man-Man, who departed this life on March 30, 2025, at the age of 36. He left this world peacefully at home, and will be forever remembered by those whose lives he touched.

Born on June 2, 1988, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to his mother, Latrice Alexander, and father, Rodney Alexander Sr., Eric brought light and kindness into every space he entered. Raised in Indianapolis, he later moved to Las Vegas, where he graduated from Sierra Vista High School in 2007. He continued his education at Ball State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 2011.

Eric began his professional journey in marketing, spending the early years of his career with PepsiCo. Eventually, his love for travel and meeting new people led him to a fulfilling career in aviation as a flight attendant. It was a path that allowed him to explore the world-a true gift for someone with a heart full of curiosity and a soul drawn to adventure.

Eric lived a life rich in purpose and passion. He found joy in playing music, exploring the planets, riding roller coasters, playing video games, and connecting with others. Whether through deep conversations, a shared laugh over a video game, or a spontaneous call just to say, "Hi, I love you.", Eric had a way of making people feel seen and loved.

He was a cherished son, a devoted brother, a beloved grandson, a caring uncle, a wonderful nephew, a loyal cousin, and a treasured friend. Eric was also a proud dog dad to Shadow, and his compassion extended to every living being he encountered.

Eric is survived by his loving mother and father; brothers, Rodney Alexander Jr. (Shanae) and DuJuan Alexander; grandmother, Margaret Burrell; special great aunt, Ann Burnett; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom will carry his memory with them forever. Eric is preceded in death by his grandmother, Arleen Alexander; and grandfathers, Blake Alexander Jr. and Robert Lee Turnley.

Eric's presence was a gift, and his absence is deeply felt. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit, his laughter, and his love will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
