Eddie Lee Clark was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 7, 1946 to the late James and Mary Ella Clark.
At an early age Eddie professed a hope in Christ and was baptized at the New Light Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend and Pastor M. M. Allen.
Eddie attended the Indianapolis Public School System. He also received some additional training at Ivy Tech Vocational campus in Indianapolis.
He was an avid sports enthusiast, watching and playing football, basketball with family and friends. Eddie even enjoyed some golf. He loved to fish and hunt during his early years with his father.
Eddie was employed by the Chrysler American Foundry Corporation. He also volunteered at Trinity Episcopal Church during the time they had programs for assisting families in need of food and clothing.
He was a friendly person and loved being around people. He also loved enjoyed the company of the family pet dog, Pebbles.
Eddie Lee Clark departed this life on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at home with his family. His four brothers: James Andrew, Eugene, Lynn and Raymond all preceded him in death. He will be truly missed by all who loved him.
He leaves to cherish in his memory: sister, Katherine Blane; aunts: Mary “Pug” Rials, Lillian Cooper (Gary), Queen Ester Shorter all of Lawrence, Kansas and Addiest Rouse (Alfred) of Country Club Hills, Illinois; uncle, Lloyd Clark (Jean) of Wichita, Kansas; cousin, Sarah Hunt (Joe); a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
