Earl L. Rudolph

Earl Lawrence Rudolph, the son of Aaron and Earlene Rudolph, was born September 29, 1952 in Montgomery, Alabama.

He received his primary and secondary education in the Indianapolis Public Schools system. After graduation Earl had a brief stint in the United States Navy where he mastered navigation by studying the stars.

Earl worked in IT at JennAir until they went out of business. He was also a freelance house painter.

In midlife Earl accepted Christ and was baptized into the Kingsley Terrace Church of Christ. Earl was an avid sports fan, and he loved racing HO slot cars as well as watching the Indianapolis 500 race, and basketball or football games. He also enjoyed a good card game of Dad or Bid Whist.

Earl was one of the primary grillers for the family cookouts for many years and only recently passed the baton to the younger generation.

Earl Lawrence Rudolph departed this life on Sunday, January 11, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Aaron Williams, Larry and Jason Rudolph; and sister, Terry Rudolph.

He leaves to cherish his memory his companion of over 40 years, Sandra Jones; sons, Earl Clark and Christopher Rudolph; daughter, Ka’Sondra Rudolph; brothers: Dwight Rudolph (Janene), Preston Rudolph, Aaron Rudolph Jr. and Lamont Anthony (Fatimah); sisters: Linda Ward (Vernon), Aarona Tunstall, Cynthia Rudolph, Tammy Burris (Brian), Davina Anthony and Erica Walker (Mervin); bonus sons: Robert and Jeremy Crawford; as well as a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, numerous cousins and friends.
