Derek Ramon Collier, known as “AD” or “Another Day”, was born February 4, 1973 in Highland Park, Michigan to Dorothy Collier and Ben F. Collier.
Derek moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1979 where he attended Indianapolis Public Schools and later went on to receive his GED. He was currently employed at MicroMetl as a certified forklift operator.
He will be remembered for his laugh and crazy personality. Most people in the neighborhood will definitely miss the helping hand. He will also be remembered for some of his famous sayings “handle dat” and “get’er done.” He enjoyed listening to a broad variety of music genres. Derek enjoyed playing football as well as watching it.
Mr. Derek Ramon Collier’s sunset was on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the age of 48. He is preceded in death by his father, Ben F. Collier and niece, Azreonna Collier.
Derek leaves to cherish his memories to his sons: Michael Collier and Storm White; daughter, Dajia Collier; grandsons Jayden and Brodie; mother, Dorothy Collier; sisters: Felicia Payne, Angela Montgomery, Denise Collier and Lon’yaa King “Baby Sis”; four uncles, five aunts, five nephews, three nieces; a good friend, Mary Schwartz; and a host of loving family and friends.
