Mr. Dennis Lee Hurt was born May 3, 1947 in Indianapolis, Indiana where he resided for 78 years. He will be sadly missed by loved ones and friends. We bow in humble submission to our Heavenly Father who knows best. 

Mr. Dennis Lee Hurt (D.L.) departed this life on January 14, 2026. He loved his Western movies and football and he was very big on family. He loved his family and friends. His best friend was Tommy Lyles. 

Dennis Lee Hurt (D.L.) was preceded in death by his parents Theodore & Mary Lou Hurt and his sisters Helen E. Hudgins, Hazel Graves, Joan Jones, Gladys Hurt and brother Ollie Hurt. He is survived by his brother Ted Hurt and his sister Betty Armstrong, Betty (Edward) Martin and many nieces, nephews and church members that became family.
