Denise Lynn (Washington) Croom

Denise Lynn (Washington) Croom was born August 10, 1958 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Shirley (Black) Edwards and Ronald Washington.

She attended Indianapolis Public School #37 and she later obtained her G.E.D. Denise was employed at Community North Hospital and was loved by all.

In 1991 Denise was united in Holy Matrimony to Thomas L. Croom and together they shared 32 years.

Denise Lynn Croom passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at the age of 64 years, after a battle with cancer. Her parents; uncle, Daniel Black Jr.; and nephew, D’Lon Edwards all preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas L. Croom; daughter, Tiffany Redmon; son, Nick Grady; stepchildren: Marela Cumberland, Tamika Croom and Thomas Croom; sisters: Dana Gonder, Linda Edwards, Rhonda Pullins, Chyrisse Edwards, Anita Ridgeway and Sandra Edwards; brothers: Thomas Edwards, Jason Edwards, Melvin Washington and Kevin Washington; a host of nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.
