Byron Eugene Vaughn, Jr. was born January 14th, 1963. He was the middle child to Byron Eugene Vaughn, Sr. and Norma Jean Vaughn. He graduated from North Central HS and went on to complete training in the U.S. Air Force and completed auto mechanic training- graduating from Lincoln Tech.
Byron, affectionately known as Tuffy, had a larger than life personality and an enormous laugh that shook the room. He loved music, and people watching, frequently at concerts and any gathering where there would be music and people enjoying themselves. He especially loved the rooftop and was there nearly every week of the summer.
“Tuffy” dearly loved his family and making memories. He was known to capture pictures every opportunity he got. Byron accepted Christ at an early age and maintained a relationship with the Lord and stayed in his word despite anything that he faced.
“Tuffy” is survived by his children Byron Eugene Vaughn, III, Brittany Vaughn and Demetria Bell; his mother Norma Jean Scott; his sister Rochelle Vaughn; his brother Larry Vaughn; his grandson Bryadon Vaughn; niece and nephew NaTasha Hammond and Dominique Williams and a host of too many loved ones to name. He was known to show up for us whenever we called. And today and forever we will celebrate his life. May our love for him multiply tenfold. Well done, Jr. We are thankful for your life and your legacy.
