Bishop Willie Mundine

Willie met Betty Jean Watkins in Indianapolis, IN and they were united in Holy Matrimony in November of 1974. Shortly thereafter, both joined the Faith Powerhouse Apostolic Church and began to do the work of the Lord.

Later, he and Betty launched out and started their own church as Faith Tabernacle Apostolic of Indianapolis, which has been active for 35 years. Faith Tabernacle Apostolic of Fort Wayne, IN was birthed from this Ministry and remains active for 24 years under leadership of Bishop Kevin Cantrell Sr. and his wife, Pastor Lillie M. Cantrell.

Willie served faithfully as a church bus driver, Deacon, Elder, Assistant Pastor, and Honorary Bishop over his tenure in the church. He is best known for being a great and gifted Teacher of Sunday School, Bible Study, and taught many Seminars during Church Organizational Meetings. He was also primary and back-up drum player at the church, he loved this role! He also loved singing the songs of Zion; his favorite solo was “A Change Is Gonna Come” by Sam Cooke.
