Betty Margaret (McCarty) Rohey was born March 5, 1949, in Mobile, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents.

After moving to Indianapolis, Betty attended Indiana Public Schools, graduating from Shortridge High School in 1967.

Betty was a long-term employee of Indiana Bell/ Ameritech until her retirement.

Betty was first married to the late Abie Dean Robinson Jr. and together they were blessed with two children, Tariq and Aliya. Later in life, Betty found love again with William D. Robey, her cherished husband, who was consistently by her side until she passed.

Betty was a kind, devoted and caring woman of faith and attended Eastern Star Church. She enjoyed shopping, decorating, traveling with family, supporting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Betty Margaret Rohey peacefully departed this life on June 13, 2025, at the age of seventy-six surrounded by family.

Betty leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband William D. Robey; son, Tariq Abdul Robinson (Jameka); daughter, Aliya Gosse; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Joshua and Noel; brother, James Earl Seals, and a host of loving family and friends.
