In 1950, Mother Betty and her husband, Curtis Williams, who preceded her in death, moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. To this union, eleven children were born.
She was a faithful member of the Church of God in Christ. She attended Sanders Temple, under the leadership of Elder James L.
