Beth Ann Scott

Beth Ann Scott was born November 25, 1960, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the third child and only daughter born to William J. Scott Sr. and Alberta Cruse Scott.

Beth accepted Christ at an early age and continued her Christian walk as a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church where she served in the Nurses’ Ministry.

Beth was educated in the Indianapolis Public Schools and graduated from Northwest High School in 1979. Beth continued her education at the University of Indianapolis earning her Bachelor (BSRN) and Master Degrees (MSRN) in Nursing. Beth became an adjunct professor, training nurses in the clinical area of nursing.

Beth’s work in the nursing field spanned over many years. She began her career as a Unit Secretary at Methodist hospital, moving on to become a Labor & Delivery Nurse, then in the later years of her career she was a Home Health Nurse, caring for Seniors all across the central Indiana area. Beth retired in 2025 from Franciscan Health but continued her legacy of caring by working with AM/PM Home Health Services where she was employed at the time of her passing.

Beth enjoyed travel, family gatherings, spending time with friends, and cooking. Everyone enjoyed her peach cobbler and it was always requested whenever she was invited to a pitch-in dinner!

On August 20, 2026 Beth earned her heavenly wings at the age of 65, leaving behind a life of caring, loving and unwavering faith.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, and older brother, Charles Edward Scott.

Beth leaves to cherish her memory: brother, William J. Scott Jr. (Melva); nieces: Elizabeth Scott Robinson (Jeffrey), Charletta Scott Fox (Justin) and Sharla Scott Mullins (Wesley); and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, extended family, many friends, and patients.
