Beatrice Marie Moss

Beatrice (Bea) Marie Moss was born September 8, 1939, in Indianapolis, IN to Albert and Dorothy Anderson. She was the firstborn to this union. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Dorothy Anderson, as well as her sister Carolyn Anderson.

Beatrice attended Pasadena High School in Pasadena, CA, and later received her associate degree at Ivy Tech College. After school, she was employed by the Indiana State Board of Health and ALU where she worked for a combination of over 48 years before retiring in 2009.

On April 14, 1961, Beatrice was united in holy matrimony to Earnest William Moss to whom she was married for thirty-four years before Earnest preceded her in death. Three wonderful children were born throughout Beatrice and Earnest's union: Cheryl, Earnest, and Rosanne.

Beatrice was a loving and family-oriented woman. Although Bea often kept to herself, she truly cherished times when she could laugh and joke with her closest family and friends. Although she was not known for her cooking, she absolutely loved any opportunity to eat and never passed up time to enjoy some good food. She was an avid reader and loved keeping up with current events, but almost nothing came between her and her stories that she loved to watch. She enjoyed shopping and collecting lots (and lots) of items. If there was ever something you needed, you knew that you could go to her place and she would have it. 

Her presence and love will truly be missed. 

Beatrice is survived by children: Cheryl, Ernest and Rosanne; grandchildren: Nicole, Renee, Phillip, Mariah, Dominick, Avery, James, Anthony and Cheyenne; great-grandchildren: Alexis, Amare, Jayden, Gabrielle, Selma, Aiyana, Anthony Jr., Za'Myla, Xavier, Levi and Evelyn; siblings: Nancy, Sondra and Tobey; a host of loving family and friends.
