With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Aundrea “Auni” NaChelle Artis, on Sunday, March 3, 2024. Born on March 24, 1991, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to mother, Tamika (Williams) Colbert and father, Andrea Artis. Auni was a beacon of love and strength, deeply connected to her roots and family, which stood as the foundation of her life.
 
A proud graduate of Lawrence Central High School in 2009, Auni's life was a testament to her passion, independence, and compassionate spirit. Her love for music and fashion allowed her to express her unique creativity and perspective, particularly through her engaging presence on social media platforms like Instagram. Auni found her greatest joy in the company of her family and friends, embodying the role of a protector with a quiet strength and sensitivity that drew people to her.
 
Auni leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and the quiet power of compassion. She is lovingly remembered by her adoring daughter, Darryelle Nicole; mother, Tamika Michelle Colbert (Ron); father, Andrea Artis; devoted brothers, Adrian Artis (Kelsey) and Jordan Artis (Breonna); half-brothers, D'Andre Fields and Drea Artis on her father’s side; grandparents, Andrea and Linda Artis; a host of nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a close-knit circle of friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved granny, Terri Williams, whose memory continues to inspire Auni's family.
