Adrienne Devona Rogers was born on May 20, 1971. She was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, by her two parents, Henry Ivan Billups Jr. and Blanch Lee Billups (both deceased). She has two siblings, Tyrone Billups (deceased) and Tirrell Billups Sr.(twin brother). She graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 1990 and received her high school diploma. She started to attend Zion Tabernacle Apostolic Faith church in 1993. In 1994, she received the gift of the Holy Ghost. She met her husband, Anthony Dwayne Rogers Sr., in 1996, and they married in 1998. Anthony and Adrienne began their married life near Haughville, Indiana. They had 3 children at the time. In 2003, they moved closer to Avon, Indiana, and expanded their family with 2 more children. Anessa Rogers, Anthony Rogers, Ashley Rogers, Andrew Rogers, and Angela Rogers. Adrienne has been a part of the Zion Tabernacle family for 32 years. In her time at Zion, she served in many auxiliaries and departments. She has served in the choir, the kitchen during vacation bible school, children's church, and many other dinners. She taught children’s church, helped with the Rebecca Booker Homeless ministry, Signs of Praise, community day, church picnic, and the candy store. During covid she became more active in Zion’s Praise Team and Sunday School Department. Outside of the church, she worked as a DSP( Direct Support Specialist) at St. Vincent New Hope of Indiana for 15 years, where she was responsible for one-on-one care for individuals with developmental disabilities. She was also a CNA ( Certified Nursing Assistant) at Wellbrooke of Carmel, Indiana, where she was responsible for taking care of the elderly. Adrienne passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on December 17, 2025. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, twin, and friend. Adrienne leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She will always be loved by her cherished husband, Anthony Rogers Sr.; her beloved children, Anessa Rogers, Anthony Rogers Jr., Ashley Rogers, Andrew Rogers, and Angela Rogers; her devoted twin brother, Tirrell Billups Sr.; and her Zion Tabernacle Church family. Adrienne’s memory will be forever treasured by a host of relatives and dear friends whose lives she touched with grace and kindness.
