Yvonne Denise (Beck) Freeman

On February 16, 1955, the world was blessed with a beautiful soul named Yvonne Denise Beck, the daughter of Robert and Marlene Beck. She was born in the far western part of El Paso, Texas which would always remind her she was a southern woman at heart.

Later in life, Yvonne moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where she would attend Broad Ripple High School, followed by a few years of college. Shortly afterwards, Yvonne was united in Holy Matrimony to Keith A. Freeman Sr., creating their own family with their own children, that made an easy transition into working with children which was one of her many passions in life along with cooking and being with her family.

Yvonne was known as several things: a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin or a lifetime friend to those she was able to touch in her lifetime. She was known as the sweetest lady you have ever met and at the same time helped build you up as she did not have a problem with sharing her wisdom and life experiences. Yvonne was also known for having an uplifting spirit that allowed others around her to share their laughter from her sense of humor along with a smile that could light up a room.

Yvonne was the true example of what you call being a strong woman and she showed her strength and determination to never give up no matter how hard life could be at times.

On Monday, January 6, 2020, Yvonne Denise (Beck) Freeman transitioned over to a better life where she can join her son, Keith A. Freeman Jr. and other loved ones in peace.

She leaves to cherish her memories with her husband, Keith A. Freeman Sr; son, Nathaniel Tennyson Jr.; daughters, Latoyia Freeman and Christy Curry; grandsons, Deontai Freeman and Amarri Wilson; granddaughter, Yaniece Freeman; two great-granddaughters, Safari Washington and DaLeila Freeman; sister-in-law, LaDonna Freeman; a host of nieces, nephews, loving relatives and many friends.
