  1. Willie will be greatly missed. He was such a kind and funny person. He was considerate and made me laugh all the time. Rest In Peace Willie

  2. I worked with Willie for several years. He was someone that when he said he’d do something he did it, you could always count on him. He had a great laugh that I will miss in the halls of Riley. Willie was one of those really great people that are a privilege to know. You will be missed. My prayers will be with your family.

  3. Willie was truly a light to everyone he encountered at the hospital. I am incredibly grateful for his servant’s heart and gentle spirit. He was always around to lend a hand….and get us in the places we needed most. My condolences to all of his family and friends, thank you for sharing him with his coworkers and Riley families. Prayers and blessings to you all.

  4. Willie was a blessing at Riley and I feel very fortunate to have worked with him. My interactions with him were always pleasant. With any request, he had a solution and was always willing to “come to you”. Sending his family and friends my condolences and prayers.

  5. Willie was great to work with and I always enjoyed our conversations that usually ended up in laughter. He would always start the conversation by saying hello young man knowing I really wasn’t that much younger. You could always depend on Willie to do the job right. I will truly miss working with Willie and all of the good conversations we had over the past eight years . My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

  6. Willie was such a wonderful soul. He always had a smile and always so kind and genuine. He would do anything to help another in need. He will be greatly missed at Riley! Sending much love and prayers to those close to him.

  7. Willie- you will be greatly missed and I am fortunate to have worked with you. I appreciated your guidance and light hallway conversations.

  8. I had the honor of working with Willie at Methodist and Riley. He always had a smile on his face and was a truly caring person. I will miss him. I’m sending prayers to his family.

  9. Willie was such a wonderful person and I am so sad that he has passed. In the hospital, everyone is busy with many competing priorities. Willie always made me feel like I was his one and only priority every time that I needed his help, but I know that he was just as busy as all of us. He had a way of making everyone he encountered feel valued and special. My heart goes out to Willie’s friends and family as you mourn the loss of such an amazing person.

  10. You are truly missed Mr. Willie and i am
honored to of known you. Such a gentlemen and always spreading Wisdom and sharing a good laugh ! Fly high Mr. Willie!

  11. I will miss Willie. His death broke my heart. Every time I met him in a hallway at Riley, we always stopped to have a conversation about something. Florida, warmer weather, etc. Riley will not be the same without him. He was professional and friendly in his interactions with everyone. He leaves many sad friends at Riley. God bless you Willie.

  12. Willie was one of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Most of our interaction was by phone, but he was so dedicated to his job and he made you feel like you were his most important customer. I always liked when we’d get to laughing after solving the current problem and spending a little time chit-chatting. Willie, you’re sorely missed.
Condolences to his family. Lynne Wyman

  13. Willie greeted everyone, stranger or not, with a smile and kind words. His compassion was genuine and his laugh hearty. He literally held the keys to the castle and his presence with be greatly missed by many here at Riley. My prayers are with his family and friends to find peace during this difficult time.

  14. Everyone who knew Willie will agree, he was a ray of sunshine with a heart of gold. Always laughing and joking with that big smile. My heart is broken, but I pray that you have found peace and is now at rest. My world was better because you were part of it and I’m forever thankful that you were my friend. You will be greatly missed. To the Badger family condolences for your lost.

  15. Mr.Willie was a great man. I worked with him for over 15 years. He always had a smile on his face. Always made me laugh. He always asked about my family. He will be missed! My prayers go out to his family.

  16. I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Willie by his name, only by his smile. It was a rare thing to pass him in the hallway and not receive a smile and a hello. I will miss his positive energy in the halls of Riley. Bless you all.

  17. I am truly sorry to hear of Willie’s passing. He really was a nice person whom I’ve had the privilege to work with since 1993 at 2 of the hospitals. Always kind, courteous and professional. I could always count on Willie to impart his knowledge and have a good conversation. He was a bright light when I transferred hospitals and it was good to see a familiar face that was so welcoming. I will truly miss working with him.
