Sylvester Britton Sr

SYLVESTER BRITTON SR. was born in Jonestown, Mississippi to
the parents, father, Joseph and mother, Jessie Hallas Britton.
Sylvester was the proud father of three children; Sylvester Britton Jr.
Kemberly Britton and Dar’a Britton.
He dedicated his life to Christ at an early age and continued his daily
walk with Christ up until his last day. He enjoyed sharing his love for
Christ by leading a weekly bible study and prayer sessions with his
friends and family.
After 25 years of service, Sylvester retired from Chrysler. While
working for Chrysler Sylvester returned to school to attend IVY Tech
Community College where he obtained his HVAC Certification which
was a very proud moment for him.
Sylvester had a great love for music throughout the course of his life,
including singing in a music group “Here and Now” with his brothers .
Sylvester leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Sylvester Jr. (Laura);
daughters, Kemberly and Dar’a; brothers, Joseph, Larry Sr., Gregory
(Griselda), Milton and Harold. His father, Joseph; and his mother,
Jessie and his brothers, George, James and Lester all preceded him in
death.
Sylvester went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 16, 2019
at the age of 68 years, 4 months and 24 days.
