Sonya L. Terry 'Redd"

SONYA “REDD” TERRY was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 19, 1979 to parents, Eddie Terry and Lula B. Prysock, who both preceded her in death.

Our beloved Redd loved her family fiercely. She enjoyed cinema (movies), reading, and especially music. She loved cooking, trying new recipes, and hosting family gatherings. She never met a stranger. Redd was well known for her wacky sense of humor. It shall be dearly missed. She loved having fun and she loved her animals. Her greatest joy in life were her sons, Christian and Xavier.

Butterfly… when we see the caterpillar struggle to become what it truly is. A beautiful and light being. Spreading joy and laughter. Look deeply into her eyes, see her smile and hear her voice. As she comes forth into the butterfly, see her true beauty. Her value is worth more than gold.

Sonya “Redd’ Terry departed this life on July 20, 2022 at the age of 43 years. She leaves a large, loving, blended family. She is survived by her sons, Christian Terry and Xavier Goodner; brothers, Anthony G. Glover (Karen) and Fredrick Terry; sisters: Tawanda Randall, Niesha Hughes, Staci Terry, Charlene Terry, Tasha Griffin and Mieshia Abner; aunt, Teresa Glover; uncle, William Glover; stepmother, Gwen Terry; stepsisters: Latoya Dickerson, Gina Denson, Dana Smith and Tarika Adams; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
