  1. So sorry to hear of Marcia passing, we have been friends since singing in Carlton Chaney Singers, and then on to Light of the World Christian Church, praying for your son Brandon, grandchildren and family, God Bless and Keep, Laurita

  2. You were my friend, my buddy, I love making you laugh. All the times you got me out of trouble…. I truly love you Marcia. I will forever carry you in my heart! Love you girl!!! Ree

  3. To My Forever Sister Marcia, you’ve been my rock since the day we met at New Hope. You’ve been by my side during the best of times (singing together) and the worst of times (helping me with my parents). I will be forever grateful for how God and you were there for me in my time of need. Even though you are with the Lord now, you’ll forever be in my heart. Love Always, your sister, Pat.

  4. Cheryl and Diane, my heartfelt condolences to you and the family. Marcia was a beautiful woman of God. God saw she was getting weak and tired so last Saturday he sent his angels to move her to her new home where there is no more pain, and suffering, where she is healed. Her work down here is finished. My prayer is that our father in Heaven give you strength that surpasses all understandings. Love you guys.

  5. My heartfelt sympathies to Brandon, grandkids and family.I wii miss Marcia but always be reminded of her faith and strength RIH my Friend.

  6. Dear Family of Marcia,
We thank God for the life of Marcia. She was responsible for re-connecting us together and this led to our marriage. We met as teenagers at Blessed Hope Baptist Church many years ago. She was a loving soul and very kind to both of us. We regret we missed her service but a family situation in California prevented us from being present. That said, we will still be sending flowers and a contribution in her honor for a charity of her choice. May Marcia rest in eternal peace and power. Luv, Angelique and Ronald Drew
