Keyia Thruston was born August 6, 1975 to Brenita Malone in Indianapolis, In. Keyia found her faith & accepted Christ I as a young child in 1979 at Greater Galilee Institutional Missionary Baptist Church. Keyia was a scholar & athlete attending IPS for childhood education, graduating from Arlington High School were she participated in several extra curricular activities including volleyball & the goldenaire dance team. For secondary education Keyia attended Indiana State University in “94”. In 2014-15 Keyia earned an associate degree in Medical Billing & Coding & Mastery typing certification. 

Keyia was loving, compassionate & loyal to a fault. With a personality that would light up any room! If good food & music was the entry way to your heart Keyia lived there. Keyia enjoyed playing games & had no preference, cards, board games, computer games including two of her favorites Candy crush & (cooking game name). Spending time with family & friends. 

On Sunday November 28th Keyia went home to be with the lord. She is proceeded in death by Grandmother Mary Cotten. 

She leaves to cherish her beloved children Domonique (Tyler) Thruston , Donte, Dionna, Kendric & Kevon Sanders , mother Brenita Malone, sister Nichelle (Roger) Horne. Grandchildren Jayden, Jayion & Janila Thruston. Niece, Jenesis Wheeler & Nephews James & Jeremy Chinn(nephew-dog) Scooter. Along with aunt & uncle Carolyn & Charles Thruston & a host of cousins.
