Obituary

John Kenneth Turner, well known as “Johnny” was born on March 10, 1956 to the loving parents of Cleo Roy and Katherine (Clark) Turner in the City of Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Arsenal Technical High School (Class of 1974). John met his first love, Doris Jean Powell, they married May 8, 1981, and from this union came a son, John Cleo Turner (J.C. or The Professor JT) born on December 14, 1981, showing love to his late father by giving his son his father’s first name, Cleo, as his middle name. John K. Turner loved his son very much and was a big supporter of his son’s time during and after college at Indiana State University and currently at IUPUI. John went on to work for such companies as Chevrolet, Allison Transmission, Linkbelt, and 7UP before he went on disability. John’s interest included that he loved Western Movies, R&B Music, and was a huge fan of the NBA & NFL, especially the Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis Colts.

John Kenneth Turner leaves to cherish his memory his son, John Cleo Turner, his Sisters Kristina F. and Kathryn C. Turner, and Brother, Donald L. Turner, and a host of other loving family members and friends.
