James Arthur Blane

James Arthur Blane, son of the late James D. and Cleo Blane, was born September 15, 1937 in Cadiz, Kentucky. He received his education at George Washington High School. James accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized.

He worked for the City of Indianapolis, Chrysler Corporation and Sutton Garden Company.

Mr. Blane was a very talented person, whatever his hands found to do, he did it with diligence. James was a very good artist and he was a photographer. He had a zest for life.

James A. Blane departed this life on December 4, 2020. Two sons: Anthony Dewayne and Ronald Allen Blane preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Wife, Katherine Blane; sons: James A. Blane (Lagenia), Jerry Siegel, Brian Keith Blane (Nicole) and David Kelly Blane (Shari); daughter, Anita Marie Broadus; as well as a host of loving family and friends.
