Gregory W. Mobley

December 5, 1952 — August 8, 2021

Indianapolis, IN

Gregory Wayne Mobley was born December 5, 1952, in Akron, Ohio to William Edward and Christine (Grundy) Mobley who both preceded him in death. He was the second born of three siblings, with two sisters Phyliss Marie (who preceded him in death) and Shelia Lynn. Gregory attended and graduated from East High School in 1971 in Akron, OH where he excelled in academics and sports. He was known for his sense of humor and quick-witted remarks that would keep a smile on your face.

In 1973, after attending Kent State University, he was hired at Good Year Tire and Rubber Co, where he was accepted into a four-year apprenticeship program and became a Journeyman Pipefitter. In 1977 while working at Good Year he was introduced to the teaching of Dr. Henry Clifford Kinley, the Founder and Dean of the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research (IDMR). Dr. Kinley stated he had a divine vision and revelation in the year of 1931 and went on to say make me prove it to your satisfaction.
He revealed the true name for God as Yahweh our Elohim and the name for our savior as Yahshua the Messiah. This would be life changing for Gregory for he knew within himself he had come face to face with the “Creator Himself” and he went about to dedicate his life to telling all who would listen about the “True Gospel of the Kingdom of Yahshua the Messiah.” Dr Henry C. Kinley taught you can’t work upon eternal life; it is a gift just believe and Look unto Me and be ye saved. Isaiah 45:22.

In 1980 Gregory and Teverious Mitchell were united in marriage. In 1987 the Mobley’s were asked to relocate to Indianapolis, Indiana with their children, De’Anna and Dexter, to assist Steve
and Pam Sibley in setting up the Indianapolis, IN branch school of the IDMR. In 1988 Greg was appointed dean of the branch school.

Greg retired from Ford Motor Company in 2010 due to declining health and was given permission to step down as dean of the Indianapolis, IN branch school of the IDMR in 2014.

Yahweh our Elohim has a purpose, pattern and plan and Greg was honored to have served our heavenly father. “Don’t be discouraged by the journey be encouraged by the destination.” He was at peace and was awaiting and looking forward to his transition that took place on August 8, 2021 at home with his family with anticipation of a rosy future.

Gregory leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Teverious; daughter, De’Anna Marie Mobley; son, Dexter Mitchell (Maria); sister, Sheila Fitch (Gerald); four grandchildren, nieces, nephews,
aunts, uncles and a host of relatives and friends.
