Emma Frances Mason

EMMA FRANCES MASON was born to the late Vergil and Gladys Pulliam
Benedict on March 26, 1922 in Wheatland, Indiana.
Emma attended the Wheatland Colored School. She accepted Christ at an
early age at First Baptist Church in Wheatland.
Emma moved to Indianapolis and earned her cosmetology license at Poro
Beauty College. She worked for several years at RCA. In 1950 she united in
marriage to Paul Mason Sr. She became a faithful member of Shiloh Missionary
Baptist Church. She served there as a Sunday School teacher and pianist for
many years.
Emma enjoyed baking and sewing. She was a loving wife, mother, sister,
grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Emma departed this life on September 8, 2019. She was preceded in death by
her husband, Paul Mason Sr and children, Cheryl Mason and Paul Mason Jr.
She is survived by her children, Robert Steven Mason (El Paso Texas), Karen
Jo Mason (Grove City, Ohio), Donna Mason (Indianapolis), Gladys
Evangeline Mason (Indianapolis), Larry Mason (Indianapolis); brother, Robert
Benedict; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
