Cordius Eugene Sanders

Mr. Cordius E. Sanders known to most as Eugene was born in Indianapolis Indiana at General Hospital on June 26, 1967. He attended Indianapolis public schools and Perry Meridian High School and later took a typing course.

Eugene worked in housekeeping at Wishard Hospital, cleaned offices Downtown and worked at several restaurants in the city until the keloids began to take over is body.

Eugene attended Jerusalem Temple where he received the Gift of the Holy Ghost at a young age and was the drummer (on beat or off beat) he enjoyed playing for the church, Quartet groups and anyone who needed him. Whenever you saw Eugene, he always had a pair of drumsticks. Eugene would even sing a Solo if asked. He was known throughout the city among many churches.

Later in life in his spare time he enjoyed riding his bike to get a cool drink, the company of his female friends and loved to eat. Eugene was a friendly and fun-loving person who people loved to be around. Eugene was a happy go-lucky person who enjoyed making people laugh. He was a joy to be around!

Eugene was proceeded in death by his parents Joseph Sanders and Elnora Hutchinson. He leaves to cherish his memory his son Philip Sanders, brother Joseph Sanders, Elder & Mother Findley who he called Mom & Dad, his dear friends Denna Helm and Durrell McDaniels, a host of family and friends.
