Mr. Clemon Guyton (aka 'Pops', 'Guyton' & 'Big Daddy') departed this life on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the age of 72 years. He was born July 27, 1941 in Alabama. 'Guyton' was employed for the city of Indianapolis (DOT) for over 30 years until his retirement. He loved the Lord and his family. He leaves to cherish his memory, 3 sons; Bill, Patrick, and Timothy Guyton, 1 special step-daughter, Janice Edmonds, 2 step-sons; Donelle Smith and James Long, 1 daughter-in-law; Valerie Nelson, 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends.Family and Friends Visitation will be Friday, August 16th from 10am - 12 noon at Lavenia & Summers Home for Funerals - LBJ Chapel, 5811 East 38th Street. Funeral service will follow at Noon. Interment will be in New Crown Cemetery.
