Evangelist Bertha L. Hughes

Evangelist Bertha L. Hughes was born October 11, 1952 in Gholson, MS to the union of Leslie Harrison and Daisy Lee Harrison of Anderson, IN.

In 2014, she received her degree in Psychology after attending online college.

She received Christ and was Baptized in the name of Jesus. Bertha became a Woman of Wisdom and a Prayer Warrior.  As she was praying, God called her to the Ministry of Evangelism where she became an intercessor for “All People”

Bertha is survived by her husband David Hughes of Indianapolis, IN; her children Dave M. Armstrong III (Joann) of Washington, IN, Gina N. Armstrong and Thomas K. Armstrong of Indianapolis, IN. She also leaves behind children Sherri Hughes (and her 3 children), Chauntell Graves (and 2 children and 3 grandchildren), and Minyone Taylor (and 4 children) all of Indianapolis, IN; as well as 12 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Bertha was preceded in death by her parents 3 Brothers and 6 Sisters.

Pallbearers include Tion Armstrong, Dominique Armstrong, Carlos Moore, Kenneth Boyd, Eramus Warner, and Aloric Carson.
